Hey NRT Subscriber,
Failure touches every corner of life.
Dating. Sports. Business. School. Parenting. Self-improvement. Goals. Dieting.
I could list dozens of other areas where failure shows up, and I'd be no different than anyone else. It's simply part of being human.
Yet most of us work overtime to avoid it, ignore it, or pretend it didn't happen. In doing so, we rob ourselves of the lessons failure has to offer—the chance to improve, try a different approach, grow stronger, and encourage both ourselves and those around us.
We have to fail. It's an unavoidable part of the journey.
Refusing to fail often means refusing to try, and that's a far greater loss.
Do we want to fail? Of course not. But when we do—and we will—we have a choice. We can see failure as proof that we're not enough, or we can see it as an opportunity to learn, grow, and keep moving forward.
Your failures are not a measurement of your worth. And you're worth a heck of a lot more than your worst moments.
Happy failing this week.
